Dr. DeSouza was perfectly nice, professional, and competent however he asked me almost no questions regarding my health and rather proceeded to try to tell me what exercise I should be doing and what diet I should eat. I had surgery on my foot two weeks ago and he criticized me for not being back to the gym to lift weights (yet he never asked if I had been cleared to exercise by my surgeon, which I have not). He also told me I shouldn’t run again once my foot is healed and rather I should take up swimming. Again, didn’t ask about my activities prior to surgery or let me get a word in to let him know I have an excellent care team who I’ve built a recovery plan with regarding my foot, or that I have a degree in exercise science and nutrition. Just a lot of man-splaning. Again, perfectly nice, professional, and competent. Just not my flavor. I won’t be going back.

As a young woman seeking birth control, I felt he was slightly condescending and made me feel uncomfortable asking questions about my own body. He (or his office staff) also filled out forms extremely vaguely (I think on purpose), causing me to have to fight with my usually great insurance company for coverage.

I have been seeing Dr. DeSouza for years now, he delivered my 2 children and has been a great doctor. I continue to see him regularly even though we moved and his office is not as convenient to my current location, but it’s only once a year so I make the trip. I would recommend Dr. DeSouza to anybody with my eyes closed.

I like Dr. DeSouza a lot. I'm a young adult and I haven't had any kids, and he handled all of my questions about getting an IUD inserted very well. He's super calm and chatted with me, which put me at ease during the exam (I always get nervous!).

Dr. Desouza is one of a kind. He is calm, patient, and very good at explaining exactly what is going on. I highly recommend him and the entire practice. The nursing care is wonderful too. I have delivered two babies with Dr. DeSouza and feel lucky to have found him.

I love Dr. DeSouza's patience and time that he takes for every single patient. Yes, that sometimes can lead to to a little bit more of a wait time but it is well worth it in exchange for the feeling that you are properly taken care of and taken seriously.
