About Dr. Maliha Saeed
Dr. Saeed earned her doctorate at the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA, where she was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honors Society. She earned her BA, graduating magna cum laude in cell biology & neuroscience from Rutgers University, NJ. She also completed a minor in Psychology & French, achieving membership in the Phi Beta Kappa Honors Society. Her clinical experience includes training at the Hudson Valley Veterans Affairs Hospital in New York, a specialty contact lens practice in Silicon Valley, CA, & the ophthalmology clinic at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore. Her professional interests are primary care optometry & contact lenses, as well as ocular disease & surgical co-management. She is a compassionate clinician excited to provide quality eye care to patients in Maryland & DC.

I used this website to identify an eye doctor nearby that takes my insurance. Unfortunately, when i arrived I learned that they do not take the insurance that Zocdoc says they do. I'm sure the doctor and the staff are great, but I decided not to pay the full cost of the exam.

Dr. Saeed is nice and competent as all doctors art this practice seem to be. The equipment is modern and well maintained.
Unfortunately the office is managed extremely poorly. I have been there a few times for medical visits and trying to get an eye exam and has multiple issues with communication, insurance claims and unreasonable wait times.
Due to very poor office management experience I’m taking my business elsewhere

Very sophisticated eye doctor office. Easy check in with electronic scanning of cards. They use a gentler, more precise test for the pressure in your eye - most eye doctors have to shoot a puff of air in your eye, whereas they have a handheld tool that touches much more gently. They were able to detect and alert me of potential risks with my eyes before it got to be an issue. I’ve usually not cared about where I get my eye exams done because I felt that they were all the same, but this doctor’s office is worth returning to.

Dr. Maliha Saeed is professional and thorough. She made sure I understood clearly about the process for getting contact lenses designed for my prescription, and she answered all of my questions leaving me no doubt as to what to do. She explains everything so the common person understands. We don't all understand optometry terminology.

The office staff is quite courteous and professional. I particularly like the modern check-in process. It's very detailed and thorough. The staff took me through each pre-exam until I saw Dr. Saeed. She was very personable and clearly quite educated, informing me about the condition of my eyes. After finishing with her, she walked me over to the in-office eye specialists who assisted me in selecting my frames. Michael was exceptional. Overall, I'm thrilled to have Dr. Saeed and her staff as my vision care providers.

She was really nice and answered my questions thoroughly. I was seen before my appointment (I got there 20 min early). Also, when I was told I needed glasses, the lens specialist helped me get a great value for my frames and was really patient while I tried on lots of different ones.

There was a staff shortage so it took over an hour to be seen by the technician and then another 30-45 minutes to be seen by Dr. Saeed. She was very detailed in her analysis and her recommendations on how I should move forward. Overall, it was a pleasant experience minus the wait but I attribute that to the staff being short. I would recommend it but probably get there at least 15 minutes before my appointment.

Everyone who worked with me was fantastic! My only complaint is the wait time. I went in for a routine eye exam and came out 2+ hours later. It was ridiculous, and there is no parking so you either have to pay to park in a garage or do meter parking. Dr Saeed was wonderful though, very knowledgeable and skilled at her craft.

Had a pleasant appointment. Was slightly annoyed that ancillary staff dilated my eyes accidentally because i was only there for a vision exam. Otherwise though Dr. Saeed was honest, professional, and her recommendations were reasonable

The office is easily accessible and the staff are all nice and easy to work with. I was seen exactly at my appointment time. It didn’t seem like they were just trying to get you to buy overpriced glasses/contacts. In fact the contacts were actually fairly priced (which is rare at doctors offices). The doctor is knowledgeable and takes time to explain everything eye health and vision related. One of the better optometrists I have seen in a long while.

Dr. Saeed was amazing! She was professional, efficient, very friendly, knowledgeable and a great listener. She made me feel very well taken care of, took the time to answer all of my questions and even used pictures to further help me understand her explanations. She went above and beyond to ensure that I received the best care for my eyes during the visit as well as preparing me for any potential issues that could arise in the future. Everyone in the office is very friendly as well!
