In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs?
Physical and behavioral health go hand in hand; thus, a primary care provider should not disregard one’s daily habits and thoughts but rather address them in a way that benefits the patient and helps them see that they can control their state of health, whether mind or body.
What makes you passionate about being a healthcare provider?
Improving one’s health and access to healthcare by actively applying my knowledge, skills, and critical thinking to resolve an acute illness or control chronic illness. Educating patients on their condition and discussing different treatment options. Most importantly, building a relationship with my patients so they are comfortable and can openly discuss any concerns about their health.
Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time?
I like traveling, visiting new places, and learning about different cultures; it is very stimulating to me. I love the outdoors, from the mountains to the beaches. Cooking meals from various cultures is like meditation to me.

Double the amount charged than I usually pay for a doctor…. Also they said they couldn’t send my medication to my pharmacy so I had to walk an extra 20 min to another place. Also didn’t give me much guidance except medication. So I switched providers and it was half price, they sent medication to my pharmacy next door to me and also gave me a bunch of other resources. I would not see again.

I had a very disappointing experience with her. I felt that my concerns were completely ignored during the appointment. The communication was poor, and I left the office feeling unheard and without a clear plan for my health. I will be looking for a new primary care physician who prioritizes patient input.

Doctor saw me quickly and confirmed she would order the lab but never ordered. I called the office but no one picked it up. And they don’t allow patients to send any message in the portal. I will inform my insurance about this.
