Dr. Mitchell is a personable, knowledgeable, but professional physician. He is approachable, caring, and makes you feel like you are his only patient even though in reality you know you are not. He makes sure you are throughly informed about your health. He is everything you want and more in a physician. I recommend him for anyone.

Look no further....Dr. Mitchell is an excellent provider. He was very personable and his use of humor made my visit smooth. Dr. Mitchell was knowledgeable about medical guidelines which speaks a lot to professional development. The staff as well were efficient and I can say, I did not wait longer than about 15 mins before I was seen. I would highly recommend this practice for your lady needs.

This is my second visit with Dr. Mitchell. He remembered me from a year ago which made me feel comfortable. He was the only doctor out of 4 doctors able to help me with my problem. I appreciate his honesty and guidance. I will continue to go to him for my OBGYN needs.

New to the area and needed to get back on birth control - looking for a practice that was taking new patients without having to wait too long. This was a great find. Dr. Mitchell was very nice, easy to talk with, easy to ask questions. Thorough exam was efficient but not rushed. Office staff were also very pleasant. Was in and out in under about 45 min - for a new patient getting an annual exam and filling out initial paperwork, that's not bad at all! Offices are inside the massive MedStar hospital complex, but easy to find. Plan to stick around as long as I am living in DC.

Coming from an employee at this hospital, I was very impressed with the efficiency of this office. I was able to get seen, have all my needs met, and return to work in 20 minutes. Dr. Mitchell was very kind and easygoing. It was very clear that he did not read my medical history or the records that I had faxed, but since I was only there to get a Pap smear and BCP renewal, it wasn't as much of a concern. My experience was very enjoyable and I will definitely return to see Dr. Mitchell whenever the need arises.
