Mary A. Gumbo, DNP, ARNP, AGNP-C, is a board-certified adult geriatric nurse practitioner with over nine years of experience in primary care settings. She is the CEO and Founder of Integrated Health and Wellness. Mary began her nursing career at Virginia Mason Hospital in 1996, then pursued her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Washington while continuing as a bedside RN. She earned her Master’s degree in Adult Gerontology Nursing from Maryville University and completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice at Aspen University. Mary brings over 20 years of experience in medical-surgical nursing at acute care hospitals in the greater Seattle area, along with nine years of experience as a nurse practitioner.
As a Nurse Practitioner, she has worked with:
• The complex care patient population at the Monroe Complex – Department of Corrections (2018–2020)
• Primary care for the adult-geriatric population at Providence St. Joseph’s Health – Elder Place and Providence hospice patients
• Chronic care management for adults and geriatric populations in various sectors in the Seattle area, including psychiatric patients, home care-based patient house calls, and telemedicine
Mary is passionate about the aging population, takes time to listen to her patients, and provides individualized care.

I was horrified at the lack of mental health knowledge and care. I didn’t feel safe or listened to the entire appointment and was shocked that there were so many good reviews so i felt compelled to leave one that’s honest about my own experience. Go to literally anyone else if you have any mental health concerns in conjunction with your physical health concerns. I don’t necessarily expect someone who’s not specialized in mental health to have that knowledge but she focused on it so hard with so much misinformation. for example when i mentioned being diagnosed with OCD she asked if i “like to clean a lot” and then when i explained that that’s not always what OCD looks like she tried to convince me i don’t have it even though I’ve been officially diagnosed by several psychiatrists throughout my life. Very strange and gas lighting experience.

Dr. Gumbo was very knowledgeable and was a great listener. Although my original as was for a dermatologist as it stated on your website, I believe she was a primary care provider. So your website might need to be updated to a primary care. I have a primary care provider, but I was coming to her as I thought she was a dermatologist. She stated she would refer me to one,
