About Dr. Matt Lahey
Dr. Lahey grew up 30 miles southwest of the city in Homer Glen. He attended Augustana College in Rock Island, IL, where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Biology. While there, he was a member of the Sports Medicine Club and served as president and captain of the rugby team. After graduating, he continued his rugby career while earning his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA.
Dr. Lahey's philosophy centers on treating causes rather than symptoms and optimizing health through the body's natural healing process.
Outside of the office, Dr. Lahey enjoys spending time with friends and family, as well as playing sports such as rugby, basketball, and golf.

I was suffering from upper back pain/neck stiffness. Dr. Lahey and his staff at Advanced Health took the time to do a thorough examination and created a personalized treatment plan. The adjustments were gentle and effective. After two months of sessions, my pain is almost completely gone, and showing better mobility.
The staff is friendly and organized, and the office environment is clean and welcoming. I highly recommend them to anyone experiencing chronic pain!

Dr. Lahey is the best chiropractor I’ve seen! His bedside manner is unmatchable. He was so thorough, answered all my questions, was kind and very patient. He is very knowledgeable and goes above and beyond in making sure you feel comfortable and understand everything. I can’t recommend him enough!!

Dr. Matt Lahey is seriously the best! I came in barely able to move my neck, and after just a few visits I felt like a new person. He’s not only great at what he does, but also super kind and makes you feel totally comfortable. You can tell he really cares about helping people feel better, not just getting them in and out the door. I recommend him to everyone I know!

Dr. Lahey is the real deal. I came in barely able to move my neck after a lift gone wrong, and he had me back to training in no time. He doesn’t waste your time, he just gets it done and actually cares about helping you feel better. Solid dude, great energy, and good chiropractor.

Dr. Lahey was phenomenal! This was my first experience with a chiropractor. I certainly had my doubts heading into my first session. But what stuck out at first was how knowledgeable he was about how to help me get back to feeling 100% so that I could continuing pushing myself as an athlete. Then as I consistently showed up week to week I always appreciated how he would listen to me when I was describing how I was feeling as we continued to make progress.

Dr. Lahey is great! I felt super comfortable from the moment I walked into the office. He really takes the time to listen and explain everything in a way that actually makes sense. I’d been dealing with neck and shoulder pain for a while, and I started feeling better after the very first session. I’ve kept going back and it’s made such a big difference. Highly recommend if you’re looking for someone who knows what they’re doing and actually cares.

I’ve suffered from back pain for years and have visited multiple chiropractors without much relief. I love their holistic approach here where they understand the muscles and facia surrounding your skeletal structure play an important role in achieving proper alignment.
Other chiropractors try to replicate this approach by giving insight to problems areas via X-ray but aren’t successful as they only focus on adjustments.
At adv health chiro they offer a complete regime to tackle all aspects of skeletal pain like physical therapy, traction, adjustments, etc. Most important, they give a structured regime that is sustainable - especially for PT. Their “broken” approach to practice allows for a fast paced visit where you get to know then entire staff. The techs are always available to help in case you need a refresher on an exercise. Shout out to Leslie for showing me the ropes!
While I’ve just begun treatment I feel confident that this will do the trick so long as I stay persistent.
