Originally from Los Angeles, she made the cross-country leap for her undergraduate studies, earning a B.A. in epidemiology from the University of Rochester. She then went on to earn her medical degree from Albany Medical College. Dr. Braiman completed her family medicine residency at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, where she served as Chief Resident.
