About Dr. Michael Covlin
Dr. Covlin has over 25 years of experience in Obstetrics & Gynecology and has been with Heartland Women's Healthcare since 2009. He earned his Bachelor's degree and Doctor of Medicine from the University of North Dakota, completed his internship there, and finished his residency at Spectrum Health System in Grand Rapids. When working with patients, he is a strong listener who finds joy in helping them overcome medical concerns with a focus on preventative care.
A native of North Dakota, Dr. Covlin enjoys visiting the area to hunt. He loves mountain biking, grilling, and prefers sunsets over sunrises. His hidden talent is ballroom dancing, which he taught while in college. He considers being a dad the most daring thing he's ever done. When not at work, you can find him playing catch with his two kids or lounging in a hammock.

I absolutely love coming to see my doctor every visit. He's so professional, kind and understanding. HE CARES! He has made my 4th pregnancy amazing as well as the staff and I couldn't be more greatful and thankful.
