About Dr. Michael Kaufman
Dr. Kaufman graduated valedictorian from Peoria Heights High School. Afterwards, he attended Western Illinois University as an Illinois State Scholar for his pre-chiropractic curriculum. Dr. Kaufman graduated cum laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1985. While at Palmer, he taught over 150 students in the art of motion palpation and adjusting. He was president of the science forum. In his final year, Dr. Kaufman was the head intern in the Palmer Public Clinic, where he assisted students and professors in patient management and treatment.
Dr. Kaufman completed 300 hours of postgraduate training in Neurology at the National College of Chiropractic in Lombard, Illinois. He is also board eligible for certification in chiropractic neurology. Dr. Kaufman is certified in Webster?s Technique, a specialty in care for pregnant women.
In recent years, Dr. Kaufman has attended over 400 hours of postgraduate continuing education in whiplash, low back pain, and sports injuries. He is certified by the Motion Palpation Institute in motion palpation and adjusting.
BackSafe, an international injury prevention program for industry, certified Dr. Kaufman as an industrial consultant.
Dr. Kaufman interned at the Judge Chiropractic Clinic and Higgins Chiropractic Clinic in Illinois from 1985 to 1986. Following this, he was an associate doctor at Tuttle Chiropractic Clinic in Seattle, Washington, from 1987 to 1989. He opened Kaufman Chiropractic Clinic in October 1989 in Bothell, Washington. In 1998, the clinic was relocated to its current address within the Kaufman Building, a beautiful two-story building on Bothell Way. The clinic occupies 9,000 sq. ft. of the first floor, including a 3,000 sq. ft. physical rehab facility, one of the largest of its kind in the profession.
Dr. Kaufman belongs to many associations, including the Washington State Chiropractic Association, American Chiropractic Association, and International Chiropractic Pediatric Association.

I went to him back in 2016 when I was living in the area and recently moved back and got insurance again, I was immediately taken care of and listened to and felt validated after the exam and getting started. The only reason I wouldn't recommend them is so that I can have more options for my appointments!

This is the first time I’ve been to a chiropractor! And honestly, I’ve been nervous about getting any adjustments because of everything I’ve read online. However, close friends who’ve been to Dr. Kaufman highly recommended him, so I knew I was in good hands. Dr. Kaufman helps you understand your body, what the problems are, and the treatments that need to be done very well. I already experienced some progress after my first appointment! All staff members are so friendly and helpful too.

AFTER 42 YEARS OF SHOEING HORSES MY BACK HAS SUFFER A LOT OF WEAR AND TEAR, DR KAUFMAN EXPLAINED WHAT MY RADIOGRAPHS WERE SHOWING AND GAVE A VERY CLEAR PLAN TO HELP RESTORE MY BACK AND NECK TO BETTER HEALTH.

All the doctors that I have seen have been great. Each has a slightly diffrent technique. Adjust to what you need for your comfort level. Easy to get an appointment. Staff is friendly.
