About Dr. Mikhail Kapchits
Dr. Michael Kapchits, Affiliate Assistant Professor of Clinical Cardiology at Weill Cornell Medical College, is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Diseases and Nuclear Cardiology. He dedicates himself to combining high-quality, comprehensive cardiological care with a kind, attentive staff and a comfortable, professional environment. Dr. Kapchits takes pride in providing the best health care to every patient, a task that can only be accomplished through an honest partnership between doctor and patient.
Dr. Kapchits graduated from Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry named after A. I. Evdokimov. He completed his Residency in Internal Medicine and Fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System. He is a graduate of the Cardiology and Internal Medicine Programs at Long Island Jewish Hospital, where he continues his affiliation as an attending physician and mentor for residents.

After spending 40 minutes looking for parking, still got there 30 minutes prior to my appointment. I signed in and wIted patiently for 45 minutes, to be told that my appointment wasn’t in there schedule. I was offered to wait 2 hours to be seen , at which point I just walked out .
