Dr. Mitchell McDowell, a Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon and Osteopathic Physician, specializes in hip and knee reconstruction. Before founding M Bone and Joint, he practiced in Southern California for eight years, earning recognition as an award-winning surgeon, mentor, and researcher with numerous publications and national conference presentations. In addition to hip and knee reconstruction, Dr. McDowell has extensive experience in orthopedic trauma. He serves as an Associate Clinical Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at both the University of California Riverside and Western University of Health Sciences. His practice focuses on primary and revision total joint arthroplasty, with expertise in minimally invasive techniques and robotic-assisted surgery. Dr. McDowell is actively involved in research, particularly in regenerative medicine, mobile technology, ortho biologics, and extracorporeal shock wave therapy for musculoskeletal conditions.
