Dr. Afridi treats the skin and the soul. Her positive qualities are endless, but words could never do her justice. She must be experienced to be believed and truly deserves a physician and practice type all her own. Nothing about her is plastic; everything about her is fresh and beautiful, glowing and brilliant. She will hear your concerns and help you see, and be, the very best you. I have no doubt. I wish every woman I love could see Dr. Afridi.

My experience thus far with Dr. Afridi has been amazing! After doing extensive research on breast augmentation on the internet and from talking with friends, I finally decided to go for it. No one I knew had used a doctor in NYC before, so I was left to just research doctors and try some out. Dr. Afridi was my first consultation and I knew right away that it was the right choice. I only met her twice within two weeks before scheduling my surgery for the very next week. She has her own private surgical facility which was a huge positive for me as I do not like hospitals. I felt so prepared and well taken care of from her and the office staff, that the most nerve wracking part of the whole experience was getting my bloodwork and anesthesia needle put in (I hate needles so much), and Dr. Afridi even held my hand through that (which let's be honest, is not even that bad). I felt very at ease going into the surgery (and I have had minor surgery before and am usually terrified about it), and immediately after surgery was so much easier than I thought it was going to be. Every body reacts differently from surgery and recovery, so that is really dependent upon your own body and how well you follow pre and post-op instructions more than anything else, but I must say, I was in minimal pain and really didn't have trouble getting around on my own. Dr. Afridi has been available by personal cell to me and answers every text I have sent and i continue to see her for my follow up appointments and another upcoming surgery next year. I intend to use Dr. Afridi for all my future cosmetic procedures I may have and I highly recommend her to all!

I could not have envisioned a better, smarter or more caring surgeon than Dr. Afridi. Well before my surgery, I was a nervous wreck, digging through my brain for any reason to be afraid. But Dr. Afridi's forthcoming and warm personality made it easy for me to open up and share my concerns. Without hesitation, Dr. Afridi responded with informative and sympathetic language that almost immediately quelled my fears.
I had never had surgery before so I was nervous about the anesthesia and a preexisting heart condition. By the time my quivering voice stopped, she had the anesthesiologist on the phone ready to talk me through my any concerns.
I felt reassured and empowered within days of my surgery. But that doesn't mean I didn't put on a show with my hidden talent: passing out. I had my fair share of minor panic attacks and near-passing out moments. I was like a fainting goat that no one sees coming---watch it on YouTube "fainting goats". That's just how I am. It had nothing to do with Dr. Afridi or anything awry with pre-op procedure.
In the end, I had an extremely successful experience and am so happy with the results!!! i am now one month post-op. I was back at work three days after surgery and this weekend I plan on getting back to riding my bike to work and hopefully training for a half marathon. :)

Dr. Afridi was phenomenal. I went to her after doing research through ZocDoc on a plastic surgeon for the liposuction procedure that I was interested in having. She was incredibly friendly but I most appreciated how honest and realistic she was with the work that could be done and the results I would receive. I spoke with a few different offices and doctors before deciding on Dr. Afridi and chose her. She didn't try to up-sell me or put fear into me (two separate doctors that I had considered both did this). She treated me like I was a friend. From the time we decided to have the procedure until now, 1 month after, I'm able to text and call her directly (not just a generic line) with questions and concerns. I would highly recommend her and have to a good friend who is interested in breast augmentation.
