“I aboslutely love this Doctor and her practice. Her bedside manner is wonderful and she makes sure to take her time with you and your child and be as thorough as possible. As far as wait time goes, it is up and down, sometimes my daughter was seen right away and sometimes I had to wait up to an hour. However, I am also aware that that is just how doctors office visits can simply go sometimes in general, so it is not a deterrent for me at all. Great Doctor. ”

My daughter was a patient of Dr. Wallach's for 15 months. She was the first doctor she saw out of the hospital and I saw good reviews on zocdoc so I figured I would give the office and her a try.
The staff at the office are less than friendly. I walk in and say hello, rarely getting one back. The wait here is extremely long. I waited at least an hour and a half every time we had to go, whether for wellness appointments or sick appointments. The waiting area is also very cramped and always full. The reason they give for the wait being long is because there aren't enough rooms for the 2 doctors to see their patients. They aren't very accommodating for same days when your child is sick, which is annoying since no one knows ahead of time when their child will be ill.
When you initially go in the staff first has to weigh and check the baby. They never remove her clothes or give you time to change her pamper so unless you ask for extra time the weight will always be off. One time the weight was so off in fact, that when i next came it was registering like my baby had lost a significant amount of weight. When I questioned the doctor on this she said it was obviously a mistake by her staff in recording the wrong weight.
My biggest problem with this doctor, and ultimately why I left, Is that she is rarely available for our appointments. In my daughter's time here she saw 3 different doctors. Although her Doctor was supposed to be Nancy Wallach, she almost always saw Dr. Yevelenka instead. Even when we asked the front desk to schedule us specifically when the doctor was there we would still get Dr. Yevelenka. I finally started asking for her since my daughter had familiarity with her and the other way around. The final appointment I scheduled for my daughter we waited over 2 hours. When we finally asked what the hold up was and why we hadn't seen Dr. Wallach or Dr. Yevelenka, they told us neither of them was there and we would be seeing a different doctor. This honestly was the final straw. I felt like she could care less about my child or her growth and likewise knew nothing about her since the record keeping wasn't great either. In the end, I want my daughter to grow with her Doctor and feel comfortable seeing a familiar face. I know these doctors see a lot of children, however at our new office I feel like my daughter is treated as a person and not just a chart. I've been there 3 times and have not one complaint, which really makes me regret having wasted my time at this office to begin with.
Even moving my records from this office was a disaster. They made come in a different day to pick up the files, but when I showed up no one had any idea what I was there for. I had initially been told the Doctor would need to speak with me before they released my records but she didn't bother coming out at all. Likewise, they tried to make me come back a third time which i refused. They finally printed everything and gave it to me without even an apology for all of the hassle. Best decision I made was leaving this place.

Overall, this office is great! I'd give a two thumbs up on cleanliness. The office has toys and a television to entertain the children while waiting. The only thing that I would have to give 3 stars is on how long you have to wait before being seen (sad face). I have waited 30-60 minutes just to be seen in the triage area then go to the room and wait some more for the doctor to come. Rest assure you are in good hand. I have both my kids treated at this office for 5 years now. I really like this place. I hope this has helped anyone looking to make up their minds on whether to choose this office or not.

I've been going to this doctor for 3 years. The doctor is lovely, but her front desk staff is bring her practice down! They are rude, non accommodating, and always give me hard time. They are untrained and unprofessional and I always wanted to the tell the doctor but never could. I hope this changes for her sake. As for me I will be taking my kids elsewhere.

Rude to parents and child. My 18 month old is scared of the doctor's office, which should be expected from a pediatrician. However, Dr. Wallach only berated me and my husband, telling us to calm child down, and made us feel it was our fault that our baby was crying hysterically (vaccines). She did not try to sooth the child at all. She did not seem baby-friendly. I had to switch pediatricians because I could not tolerate her hostile attitude towards me, my husband, and child.

Dr. Wallach is such a nice doctor! She takes care to answer all our questions about our baby and she has an excellent bedside manner. Also, the office staff are very friendly and helpful. Definitely a wonderful choice for a pediatrician's office!

I've been bringing my son here for his check up since he was born. There are few doctors in this practice and I'd say they are nice & answers most of my questions. There wait time is long, expect to wait for atleast an hour. There receptionist is not helpful & very rude. We had our immunization visit with Dr. Wallach on Saturday and I was told that his prescriptions, just in case he will get sick will be sent to the pharmacy, including his vitamins. When we went to the pharmacy to pick it up, they don't have it. So we just decided to get an over the counter medication since my son is starting to feel warm. It's already Tuesday & I have been calling them since Monday to resolve this issue but still nothing happened. I was told on Monday that the prescription should be ready in two hours and today I was told to have my pharmacy call them to resolve the issue.

My two sons love Doctor Wallach. They feel comfortable talking to her and letting her know her medical cocerns. One of my son is a teneger and he really enjoys having long conversation with the doctor about his puberty issues. I really appreciate Doctor Wallach services. Thanks.

My kids have their regular pediatrician, but Dr. Wallach is actually closer and a friend in the neighbourhood recommended her. I found the doctor to have a great bedside manner and knowledgeable, but she tends to provide prescriptions with limited explanation on the drug or possible side effects unless asked. I found the front desk staff to be less than friendly. In fact, I witnessed an occasion when she may have misplaced a patient's insurance card but was not very remorseful or accommodating in resolving the issue. I think a big no, no, especially in a pediatric office.

Dr. Wallach is very sweet and smart, and she is wonderful with our daughter. I love her as a doctor and that is the only reason why I return to her, because the wait time is AWFUL and the other "professionals" in the office are anything but. They have lost paperwork that we gave them, ignore you sometimes when you try to speak to them, and give you no updates about why we have to wait for overs 2 hours to see the doctor when we have an appointment.

Nancy Wallach is a wonderful women and good doctor. However her receptionist seemed to be unprofessional. Our appointment was at 9:15 am and we had to wait outside until 9:30 am. Then 2 children were seen before us.
