The doctor's office was closed when I arrived. Booked on Zocdoc. Took time off work. Fasted. Transportation fees to get there. I was 40 min early and waited outside the door. Called twice and left messages to call me. I hoped they were at lunch and returning, but nobody came. Incredibly rude to ghost a patient; they knew I was booked and could have called in advance to say they were closing the office, so I didn't waste my time, money, and day. Now I have to wait even longer for the next doc since the earliest anyone is open is 2 weeks.

I had a great experience with Dr. Tangirala and her nurse this morning. It was clear the office was busy but they both kept things moving quickly and efficiently. I had a mixed experience with this doctor's office. The Doctor and her assistant were excellent overall—very knowledgeable, professional, and thorough in their treatment. I have no complaints about their expertise or care during my visit.
However, I was disappointed with the follow-up process. Despite calling to remind them to send my prescription for the Continuous Glucose Monitor to the pharmacy, nobody followed up or called me back. This lack of communication, especially for a new patient, does not reflect good business practices. While the medical care itself was great, the administrative oversight left much to be desired.

The entire experience with Dr. Thangirala’s office was so smooth and easy. I have yet to find something like that in NYC. The staff was so clear and direct and honest/upfront. Love it!

I had seen Dr. Tangirala the past 2 years for my yearly physical and had always had a positive experience… until this year. For starters, I wasn’t seen by her at all - only a PA saw me, which was surprising as my appointment was for Dr Tangirala, not someone else. But the real issue was what happened after. They submitted to insurance as 2 separate visits and when I reached out for a correction, as I assumed this was a simple error from their part, they refused to do so and have been extremely rude via email. I will not be returning!

At my most recent appointment (I've been Dr. Tangirala's patient for a few years), the person who tried to draw my blood stuck me six times, all unsuccessful. When I asked the doctor if someone else could draw my blood - I get bloodwork done often and I know it's not supposed to hurt that much - she said there was no one else in the office who could. I had to make an additional appointment and go to an external lab to get my bloodwork done - a huge waste of time.
Dr. Tangirala also referred me to a cardiologist, who requested the bloodwork and visit notes from my appointment with Dr. Tangirala. I conveyed this to Dr. Tangirala and was told no problem...but the cardiologist's office never received the relevant information. I had to follow up three times before Dr. Tangirala's office finally sent over the notes - the morning of my appointment.
Dr. Tangirala is smart and has a lovely bedside manner. But if any of this sounds like a pain to you, find another doctor.

I was not seen by Dr.Tangirala during my appointment, but that was fine since I have had appointments with her before, but it something to be aware of. I was only see by the PA, which was fine by me because she was incredibly friendly, clear, and listened to everything I had to say. The lady to who took my blood was also incredibly friendly and it was my best blood drawing experience at a doctor’s office (I usually have a hard time). Overall I am super enthusiastic about my whole visit, and I feel like my health is in great hands!

this was a practice with single doctor. They called me up to get insurance details. However, they didnt inform me till the very end when i was inside doctor's office after waiting for another 30 min by the reception that doctor Neelima wouldn't be seeing me but her PA. This feels like malpractice that patients aren't informed till the very end. Why do they call it then appointment with Dr Neelima and not her PA? BTW, PA was very nice and patient. But that is not the point. So if you are getting appointment via zocdoc then be ready that its not an appointment with Dr Neelima but her PA

Dr. Tangirala was amazing. She was warm , welcoming and listened to me with a lot of patience . She was thorough and took time to listen to my concerns.It’s been difficult for me to find a good, knowledgeable PCP who I can trust and be comfortable with. I am glad I came across Dr. Tangirala and definitely seeing her again in the future.

I was 30 minutes late for my appointment due to bus delay and being rerouted. The doctor still agreed to see me and she did immediately. I found Dr. Tangirala to first and foremost to be calm, she speaks softly, warm smile which took all my anxiety away. She accept my being late apology and sympathize with me. She first talk with me about my medical history, any concerns I have. Dr. Tangirala proceeded to give me a full and through physical exam and followed up with referrals I asked for as well as ones she recommended. I was so amazed and extremely happy with Dr, Tangirala, she is exactly who I need and I highly recommend her. Her assistant is very nice, helpful and a wonderful delight to work with as well.
If you are looking for a Primary Care Physician, please call and make your appointment with Dr. Tangirala.

I made a new patient appointment and after confirming they called to tell me they overbooked and I could come in later. No one was there when I came in, staff was rude, they walked back and forth in the back ignoring me for about half an hour. The visit itself was fine though the doctor did not really help me in any way and I still have 24/7 chest pain. I had a blood test done and was supposed to have a follow up appointment virtually and no one ever called me or followed up again and I was told I’d be sent a link. No link was sent.

I had a great experience with Dr . Tangirala. She’s very knowledgeable, and patient. She was a great listener and I could establish a zone of comfort with her. I am usually very nervous with doctor visits but she made me feel very comfortable with her kind demeanor and I was able to have an open conversation with her about my health condition. She was engaging throughout and spent time addressing my concerns. Overall had a great experience, definitely inclined on setting her up as my PCP .

I don’t enjoy writing bad reviews but I think this can help the office. Maybe they were just having a bad day but I was taken in right away however I was switched between rooms multiple times mid appointment. I think she was seeing two people at once which is fine but wasn’t handled well. I was there for 1.5 hours for a simple physical. More importantly I was not happy with the cleanliness of the office. It was actually gross. I didn’t want my feet to touch the ground. The bathroom looks like he hasn’t been cleaned in a very long time. I was turned off. However staff and Dr. were very kind. Again I feel bad but I do think they need to deep clean the entire office.
