The office was clean, quiet. Staff was nice. The technician providing the mammogram was incredibly kind and compassionate, as the test is quite uncomfortable. Front desk was very nice, and seemed to have a good grasp on the patients' appointment times. I can't say it was fun, but fast and easy- yes! Probably the most you can expect from a mammo.

Breast cancer runs in my family and it’s quite a daunting aspect of my life. This was my first time getting a mammogram and I was a bit nervous. NYMI was excellent… all of the practitioners and admin were so kind and thoughtful that I forgot I was nervous! Highly recommend

Examination itself was very respectful and not too uncomfortable (mammogram). However, I received a letter afterwards explaining that I would need to come in again for additional images as something suspicious had been found (very worrying!). I was also texted to come in again, and that that would be associated with additional costs.
Thank god, I have my radiologists in the country I originally come from, who I’ve sent the digital images to and who then told me that there is no need to have additional mammogram images taken. Saved money, time, and x-ray exposure.

Overall good responsible staffs. However, with some reasons my first and last name didn’t added properly. That took some times to get confirmed/solved because one of the staffs found that my last name was input to my first name and my first name was input to my last name. I spoke to one of the staffs three weeks via email before I reserve this appointment. I shared my referral from my primary care doctor and I received confirmation email. However, the day when I was there, they said they don’t have my referral and so on. I’m not sure if this is because of they messed up my name. I think this can be improved better way. Friendly staffs but need to be improved for professionalism. Thank you!
