About Dr. Rabab Jafri
Dr. Rabab Jafri, MD, is a pediatric endocrinologist with eddii-Care and an Assistant Professor of Pediatric Endocrinology based in Texas. She earned her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Aga Khan University, completed her residency in Pediatrics at the University of Illinois Chicago, and pursued a fellowship in Pediatric Endocrinology at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Jafri evaluates and treats patients for a variety of endocrine conditions from newborn age to early adulthood. These include congenital issues related to malformation of glands at birth as well as acquired hormonal issues due to genetic and lifestyle factors. Her research involves clinical trials with the bionic pancreas (iLet®)—a device designed to automate control of blood sugars for people living with type 1 diabetes.

I feel it was very professional and prepared. We went over the Dexcom results as well as what medications were currently being used and how they were being use. We were able to discuss how we could better the diabetes management with more pre bolusing and closer eye when we see rises to do sooner follow ups.

Dr. Jafri is truly an excellent pediatric endocrinologist! She takes her time to understand your concerns and is very tech-savvy and up-to-date with the latest device technology. She recommended the iLet pump and is very knowledgable about the nuances of CGMs and pumps, adjusting insulin doses and device settings as needed. She recommends solutions that are practical for you and your family's lifestyle. Have had three follow-up appointments so far!

Dr. Jafri is truly an amazing pediatric endocrinologist! She takes her time to understand your concerns and is very tech-savvy and up to date with new technology. She recommended a move to an iLet pump and is extremely knowledgable and experienced with nuances of different devices, and how to adjust doses and settings for optimal diabetes control. She asks the right questions and recommends the right solutions for you and your family's lifestyle.
Have had three follow-ups with her already!
