About Rachel O'Hara
Rachel O’Hara, NP, began her medical career as a Registered Nurse in 2010 after earning her degree from Adelphi University. Throughout her career, she has gained valuable experience working at Mount Sinai South Nassau Hospital in Oceanside, NY, and Northwell Mather Hospital in Port Jefferson, NY. Her clinical expertise spans across various settings, including medical/surgical, telemetry, critical care, and homecare. In 2024, Rachel completed the Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner program at Stony Brook University and obtained her Nurse Practitioner license. She currently serves as a provider at the Ronkonkoma office.

I met with Rachel O’hara and was made to feel comfortable, heard, and validated. Definetly a refreshing experience and I would recommend. I get anxious around doctors and in medical settings but did not feel so this time. O’hara was very thorough with my medical history and family history as well as provided suggestions and advice.
