As one of the nation’s most acclaimed pediatricians and financial experts, Dr. Randi B. Nelson (aka DrRandiBMD) is also a nationally recognized author, speaker, and consultant. She is a sought-after media expert on children and young adult health issues, as well as a financial wellness expert due to her extensive 14-year career as a Vice President in investment banking. Dr. Randi meets with professionals one-on-one and in groups, traveling the country to instruct and provide wellness care to those in need. She is known for being authentic, compassionate, and intelligent, equipped with the knowledge to guide professionals on the path to financial wellness. Dr. Randi is a published author in the Chicken Soup for the Soul series with her short autobiographical story “Following My Heart.” She earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the State University of New York at Buffalo, a Master’s in Business Administration from Hofstra University, and her Doctor of Medicine from Stony Brook University School of Medicine. She completed her pediatric residency at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx, NY.
