About Dr. Rebeca Teplitz
Dr. Rebeca Teplitz is a board-certified dermatologist specializing in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. She provides expert care for a diverse range of skin, hair, and nail conditions for patients of all ages.
Dr. Teplitz graduated magna cum laude from the George Washington University with a degree in cognitive neuroscience and a minor in business administration. She earned her medical degree from the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine. She went on to complete her internship in Family Medicine and her Dermatology Residency at St. John's Episcopal Hospital, where she excelled as Chief Resident.
Dedicated to continuous learning and advancement in dermatology, Dr. Teplitz regularly contributes to research and has authored numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals. She serves on the editorial board for SKIN The Journal of Cutaneous Medicine and is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Teplitz also dedicates time to educating the next generation of dermatologists as a Clinical Instructor at NYU.
With a patient-centered philosophy, Dr. Teplitz focuses on creating personalized care plans that aim to boost confidence and comfort, while enhancing the natural beauty of her patients. Went in for acne treatment after years of being put off by dermatologist. Not a nice experience, i spent more time waiting for her than talking to her. I felt kinda rushed out due to the fact that she just kinda prescribed me things without listening to any of my skin concerns.
