About Rinali Patel
Rinali Patel, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner who joined Comprehensive Primary Care in February 2024.
Rinali started her nursing career at Carolina’s Medical Center working on a medical-surgical floor after earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at Queens University of Charlotte. She completed her Master’s in Family Nursing at The George Washington University in 2019. She has been certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and has been practicing as an NP for over four years in primary care.

I arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment and the office staff told me they did not have an appointment scheduled under my name. I presented one of the confirmations I received, and they said I received those from their old system not their current one. The office staff was neither helpful or apologetic. Overall, rather inconvenient seeing as I had booked 5 weeks in advance.

I was able to get an appointment quickly and didn’t wait long in reception but when I gave a urine sample there wasn’t much space in the dropbox because there were other uncollected samples still there, making spillage or cross-contamination possible. Additionally, it’s been 5 days and I haven’t heard anything from them about the results of my test, which were supposed to arrive yesterday.

The office was upstairs at a building with the signs for the stairs, and the elevator was broken. Tried to call to find out how to get in, outside phone didn’t dial office, and could not get through to a person over the phone. Once I got there, I requested not to be weighed (as I have a history of disordered eating). Stated could not see me unless I was weighed. This is not required by my insurance and not based on a medical need (dosage of medication, not pregnant). I was not being seen for a weight issue. Unpleasant all around.
