About Roseanne Seminara
Roseanne Seminar, CNM is the Director of Midwifery at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist. Before graduating from Columbia University's Nurse Midwife program in 1989, she worked as a registered nurse in the fields of Obstetrics, Public Health, Neonatology, and Pediatrics. A lifelong resident of the Park Slope/Windsor Terrace area, Roseanne has been working at New York Methodist Hospital since 1978.

I am generally happy with the level of care provided by this practice, but even so, Roseanne was simply PHENOMENAL. Not only caring, thoughtful, knowledgeable and a good listener, but also open-minded about the evolution of advice (on matters like waiting-to-conceive after methotrexate), especially for being one of the originators of the practice rather than one of the newer (and more recently out of school) providers at the practice.

I am very happy with 80% of the midwives in this practice. I especially love Jessica Goldstein, but also Laura and Deidre, and now that I've met her, Roseanne Seminara. What an excellent team!I really appreciate how much they reached out by phone during my recent slate of miscarriages and follow-up care for my ectopic pregnancy. I felt very informed and cared for during this difficult period thanks to this.
