My name is Roshanne Forbes. I am a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with experience in helping patients with depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, PTSD, autism, and other mental illnesses. Prior to becoming a certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, I worked extensively in mental health across various settings over the past 15 years.
I earned my Master’s in Nursing from Walden University and hold an Associate’s degree from Prince George's Community College - Main Campus.
I have had the opportunity to serve patients from diverse ethnic backgrounds and all age groups—children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly.
As a provider, I am empathetic, compassionate, understanding, caring, and a good listener. The approach I use when providing care to my patients to promote recovery includes therapy, holistic care, and medication management.

Was very quick. She wasn't very nice, straight to the point and didn't care much about my responses. Felt like she was just trying to get through my appointment, I did not feel listened to or cared about.

They didn’t give me the correct medication and their front desk is very unhelpful I will never see this doctor again. We called via zoom and she accidentally kicked me from the zoom call. It took about 20 minutes of the appointment time for her to get me back in the call and she acted annoyed once she finally sent me a new link (I couldn’t join back because I was kicked out it blocked me from rejoining the call) all in all I’d give this doctor a 1 star mainly because she doesn’t listen to her patients and because she was rude when i showed nothing but kindness and understanding.

They provide their own forms that you have to fill out so they don’t even look at the ZocDoc forms which is a little frustrating but she was absolutely wonderful! Great listener, asked all of the right questions, made me feel comfortable and not like I had to fight to be believed and listened to. I’m so glad to have found her and am very happy to have her as a member of my healthcare team. Thank you Dr Forbes!

This provider listened to my previous history and thoughtfully formed a plan with me on my treatment and follow up. The only issue I have had is that my pharmacy has not yet received the prescriptions we discussed in order to fill them. I have been able to message the provider through the portal and I am confident that I will have a resolution shortly.
