About Dr. Sarah Kidwai
Dr. Sarah Kidwai is a Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon. She is double board certified in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. The American Board of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery is a highly prestigious organization that believes strongly in vigorous training, qualification, and certification in surgeons that specialize in Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery.
Dr. Kidwai is one of the few female facial plastic surgeons on Long Island, and the only South Asian female facial plastic surgeon. She grew up in New Hyde Park, New York, and attended a 7-year physician-scientist program at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Albany Medical College. During medical school, she completed a year-long research fellowship at the Mount Sinai Hospital in the Department of Otolaryngology. She conducted both basic science and clinical research on head and neck cancer tumor immunology, chronic rhinosinusitis, nasal tumor identification via high resolution microendoscopy, and many other projects. After completing her Otolaryngology residency at the Mount Sinai Hospital, she went on to complete an American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery fellowship at the University of Washington. There, she trained under renowned surgeons at the University of Washington and Harborview Medical Center, where she perfected techniques in Mohs reconstruction, facial nerve reanimation, rhinoplasty, scar revision, and facial trauma. At the Larrabee Center for Plastic Surgery, she learned surgical and non-surgical facial rejuvenation under the tutelage of the well-known Dr. Wayne Larrabee. She is also trained in facial feminization surgery.

I showed up after driving 2 hours. Was told the doctor is not there and they were trying to contact me. Not a single missed call, voicemail or email. Very unprofessiona,l disappointing punctuated by lying about the communication. Was offered to see someone else but I came to see the specific doctor so I refused.
