Such a pleasant experience! Though the office is rather dated from the inside, the service was stellar at every step of my appt. Checking into the kiosk was simple (there's also receptionists that were helping other guests). I had a 9:30am appt and was seen at 9:36am by the friendly PA. Dr. Buchbinder saw me 2 minutes after the PA left the room; she was so lovely! She listened to my concerns and needs and provided comprehensive test results the next day thru MyChart (most preferred rather than calling the unanswered hotline). I would definitely recommend this office and doctor.

I didn’t even have a chance to sit down after checking in before the staff brought me back to the room, that’s how short the wait was! The lady who took my vitals and blood was so friendly and sweet. I told her I was hard to get blood from and she took her time and joked with me during it to make me feel at ease. I believe her name was Felicita. Dr. Buchbinder came in the room right away, went over my whole history and any new concerns I had and was really easy to speak with. She made me feel so comfortable and answered all my questions. I got my test results the next morning and set up the follow up appointment for a week later. All in all o had a great experience. Even though I was only there for about a half hour, I wasn’t rushed and all my questions were answered, it was just great and fast service.

I went to her for mental health help but I was disappointed to hear that she is not a therapist. I paid a co pay just for a ten minute talk. I’m disappointed with ZocDoc for telling me she’s a therapist/ psychiatrist.

Buchbinder is great, but the office experience is impossible. This isn't an indictment of her care, bedside manner, or anything like that. Leana R. the nurse is also very nice and professional.
The office is just horribly mismanaged. No direct phone line, MyChart is useless, the messaging is clunky, it's all a mess. I haven't seen a more mismanaged medical practice in my life, organizationally speaking.
To book or change an appointment you have to call into a robotic phone operator that is impossible to work with. I can't keep wasting time trying to make their system work, that they're using to save a few bucks. If you get lucky and find an actual human, it's offsite and they can't even patch you through to the Williamsburg branch.
A doctors office should have a phone number that you can call to speak with a real person, on site - simple as that.
