Dr. Sharon J. McCormack, MD, is a highly qualified medical professional certified in Internal Medicine, Oncology, Hematology, Geriatrics, and Hospice and Palliative Medicine. She earned her Bachelor's degree from Loyola University Chicago and her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Maryland Medical School. She completed her Residency in Internal Medicine and Fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology at the University of Maryland.
Dr. McCormack has a rich background, including roles as an Internist, Hematologist-Oncologist, and Geriatrician, with a strong emphasis on patient care and education. Pain management with medication is a very complex issue. I’m realizing for a lot of doctors and clinicians and I have not met Dr. McCormick yet, but I still raided her because she’s human and making a good assumption. She seems like she’d be a very good doctor for her recommendations, I applied on here for her to please help me with medication management via pain until I can get into a place or if she could manage my pain via her I’m hoping for the best regardless the doctors are great on here that I have experienced as far as I know.

Communication was ongoing and constant. Office was easy to get to. My appointment was with Dr. McCormack. There is no other doctor in her league. I had moved away from the area where she had her practice 10+ years ago and decided to find a doctor closer. Mistake. After three local doctors I was so relieved to locate her again. Ask yourself is it worth it to leave a caring trustworthy doctor just to save mileage? I feel renewed and believe i am finally back on track to enjoying my it's and beyond.

I loved Dr Sharon's bedside manner. She took a seat, looked me in my eyes & began to get to know me. I didn't feel rushed, but I did feel heard. I especially loved that the lab was in the same ofc. After seeing her, I simply walked around the corner & had my blood drawn within mins, w/o pain & was off.

The doctor never sent me a link to join my appointment after I completed all necessary steps for insurance, registration, etc. I even called customer service who said they would call her assistant to have them email me a link and that never happened either!!!

Waited for over 20 mins for a telehealth appointment and was never saw. Which was much needed for my seizures. Called the office and was told I needed to reschedule the appt after the link was disabled when I tried to reconnect. I was told on intake if the video did not work because of poor connection, the Dr would call. That never happened. My audio and video were fine, I checked. Instead I called and was told I would have to reschedule after the wait time I previously stated. I would suggest to find another Dr; Too many around deal with this honestly.
