The doctor was good, however the lady at the front who handled reception was extremely rude in the way she handled my questions and did not give a warm welcoming impression. The doctor otherwise and lady who helped with frames were good and helpful.

Too bad the glasses options covered by my insurance were limited, and they were the boring, old-looking kind. I was disappointed. I understand they want to sell other glasses, but the options were blah and outdated.

Dr. Chen is very professional and friendly. She made me feel comfortable and listened to all my concerns. She also took her time to explain each step during the appointment. I would highly recommend Dr. Chen to everyone I know. The office was great as well however the front desk can be a bit pushy about purchasing glasses. I felt a little judged for asking for the glasses that were covered by insurance. I just want people to know what to expect at the end of the day sales matter for the stores. If I had the means I would try to purchase glasses from their store maybe one day. I would still return to Dr. Chen because the overall experience was great and everyone was friendly at the office.

I have never had a doctor rush me and say to my face that they have other patients waiting, but this doctor did. It had been fine before that, but after that point the fitting and exam felt rushed and really left a bad taste in my mouth. Between this and the unfriendly front staff I probably won’t be returning to this office.
