She went on to receive her medical degree from Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2019, where she realized her passion for mental health and developed a holistic approach including body, mind, and spirit. She completed her residency at Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia and completed her child psychiatry fellowship at Children's National Hospital, George Washington University, where she served as the wellness chair for the fellowship program. Dr. Jacob offers both medication management in addition to psychotherapy. She takes a comprehensive approach to therapy, utilizing CBT, DBT, and supportive skills to help patients achieve their goals. Throughout her training, Dr. Jacob has found great joy in the relationships she has built with the patients and families she has worked with. Outside of work, she enjoys spending her time with family, friends, and her Bengal cat, Zeke, traveling, playing/watching sports, indulging in various cuisines, meditation/yoga, and exploring new areas of interest.
