About Dr. Sophia Brown
I am a board-certified nurse practitioner and doctor in family health, holding a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center. My scope of practice ranges from infants to the elderly.
I specialize and have experience in primary care, urgent care, internal, family, and emergency medicine. As a nurse practitioner and DNP, I have prepared myself to provide safe medical care and have sought to equip myself with the knowledge and connections to be successful.
I've often thought about how to best serve the community and facilitate a different patient experience-one that embodies both the art and science of medicine with a foundation in nursing.
With that, I felt it was time to open an independent practice to deliver quality, customized, compassionate healthcare to every individual.
As the director of this organization and a partner in your healthcare, I wake up every day doing what I love, enthusiastic about helping and changing my patients' lives for the better, so they can live longer, healthier, and more satisfying lives for themselves, their family, and friends.
