Dr. Gangi gave me information on how to take my meds that no other doctor ever told me in the past....I've been taking these same meds for 12 yrs. So far, I am impressed with Dr. Gangi, her staff and the facility. This was a very positive experience for me!

Dr. Gangi has very good bedside manner. She takes the time to discuss your concerns and you can definitely tell she is genuinely concerned about her patients health. My only complaint was the long wait time. In the waiting area it literally took me a little over an hour to be called back to see the doctor. Then another 20 minutes for the dr to come in the examination room.

Dr. Gangi, a native of India and graduated from one of the most competitive of Indian medical schools, Sri Venkateswara Medical College Tirupati AP, India. She has been a Visiting Clinician at prestigious Mayo Medical Center, Rochester MN for a year before pursing further medical education.
She did her residency at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch NJ, an affiliate of Drexel University College of Medicine, Philadelphia. She was awarded as best outgoing resident for excellence in research and academic affairs.
Dr Gangi has completed her Fellowship in Endocrinology from The University at Buffalo, Buffalo NY. While pursuing her fellowship, Dr. Gangi excelled as a clinician under supervision of Dr. Paresh Dandona, an internationally renowned physician for his contributions to endocrinology/metabolism, diabetes and vascular disease.
Dr Gangi is board certified in Endocrinology and metabolism and internal medicine. She is a member of American medical association, American college of physicians, Endo Society and American diabetic association.
She will provide Endocrine consultative services at Dallas Regional Medical Center, Texas Regional Medical Center and Lake Pointe Medical Center. Her clinical interests include diabetes, obesity, thyroid and adrenal disorders.

Some visits I didn't even see her, she seemed uninterested in my condition. For one visit, I followed her instructions prior to my visit and she accused me of lying. She told me where my levels needed to be to run a specific test and that if it wasn't there that the test would not work properly. After several hours of waiting she finally ran the test even though the levels were not where they were supposed to be even though I asked her not to. She charged me for the visits and the labs. It was a terrible experience over three visits and I will never go back!

The appointment was fine but nothing great. She came in, did a couple tests and gave me some pills. There wasn't really an explanation of when and how to take the pills or any discussion of my other health concerns. So far, I'm not sure I will stick with her.
The office also "can't access" the Zoc Doc new patient sheets so I had to fill those out again when I arrived.

She was not very compassionate to the issues I am experiencing with my health. She took 15 minutes with me, had labs drawn and she was gone. Her staff said she was really behind, but that shouldn't mean that I don' t deserve a quality visit.

Dr. Gangi was awesome! Very kind, attentive and thorough. I went in to be checked for one thing and unfortuately ended up finding something else, but she she did everything to make me feel comfortable by explaining what she was going to do next, what tests needed to be done and how quickly. Just knowing that she was up-front and honest and not going to keep me in the dark about anything, made me feel so much better. She also assured me that if I needed anything all I needed to do is call the office and either she or one of her staff would answer any question I had, which aslso made me feel better, knowing I wouldn't have to wait days for a response from the office. I wish all Dr.'s could be like her and her staff :)
