About Sydney Karp
Sydney Karp, MMS PA-C is a board-certified Physician Assistant licensed to practice medicine in the state of New York. She graduated from Pace University Lenox-Hill Physician Assistant Program in downtown Manhattan and was honored to become a member of the Pi Alpha Honor Society. Sydney completed her training through clinical rotations among various private practice offices in NYC, as well as academic hospitals. Prior to receiving her master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies, Sydney graduated Summa Cum Laude from Syracuse University with a Bachelors of Science in Nutrition.
Sydney is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants as well as serving on the Legislative Affairs Committee for the Society of Dermatologic Physician Assistants.
Sydney is a passionate and motivated clinician who truly believes that listening to a patient’s concerns is the most important part of her practice. Aside from dermatology, she works per diem at the pediatric emergency room at Lincoln Hospital in the Bronx. Sydney has experience in treating a variety of dermatological medical conditions as well as cosmetics such as Botox, fillers, lasers, and chemical peels. She strives to help others feel confident about themselves and their skin, both inside and out!
