About Dr. Taylor Lauermann

Dr. Taylor Lauermann received his Doctor of Optometry from Pacific University in 2020 and earned his Bachelor of Arts from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN. Dr. Lauermann decided to become an optometrist after shadowing and working in optometric practices, witnessing firsthand how they manage and treat patients' eye health throughout their lives. He believes that seeing patients yearly allows him to help them function at their best visual potential and make everyday life easier. Additionally, he can refer patients to the appropriate physician if a systemic condition is discovered. Dr. Lauermann finds his career in optometry both rewarding and intriguing, and he is continually motivated to provide the best care to every patient he sees. He especially enjoys seeing the smiles on his patients' faces when they receive their first pair of glasses and experience how clear the world can be.
