Varuna Sundaram, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Surgery in the Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at Weill Cornell Medicine and Attending Surgeon at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens. She is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and member of the Society for Vascular Surgery. After earning her medical degree from Saint George's University in Grenada, West Indies, Dr. Sundaram completed her internship and residency at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in New Jersey. She served her fellowship in vascular surgery at the University of Buffalo.

The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that I explicitly asked if the doctor could diagnose lipedema before making the appointment and was told yes. The doctor advised otherwise during my appointment.

They had a parking lot right next door that you can park in. Really easy check in and everyone was very pleasant in the office. They have a pharmacy right next door where I got a pair of compression socks. Very convenient!

Dr. Sundaram's explanations to my questions were very informative. In no way did she make me feel rushed and she stayed to answer every question I had. She was pleasant and very easy to talk to. I wish all doctors were like Dr. Sundaram.
