Dr. Wael Kamel is a neurologist in Bayside, NY, with fifteen years of experience in the field. He earned his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Alexandria University Faculty of Medicine, completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Frankford Hospital, and finished his residency in Neurology at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. Dr. Kamel truly enjoys helping his patients and making personal connections with them (18 years old and up). His friendly demeanor and caring treatment won him the honored Patient's Choice award in 2008-2009. He has always been interested in research and furthering his craft and is a former Assistant Clinical Professor at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
When not at his practice, Dr. Kamel spends a lot of time with his three children. He also has a strong interest in culture, so he takes in as much film and travel as he can in his spare time. Dr. Kamel is tri-lingual and is happy to treat you in English, Arabic, and Spanish!
