About Dr. Wissam Zaeeter
Dr. Zaeeter is an American Board-certified internist and a member of both the American College of Physicians and the American Medical Association. He completed his residency at the Mount Sinai Englewood Hospital program in New Jersey, where he served as Chief Resident in his final year in 2012.
Dr. Zaeeter has practiced hospital medicine at Cooper University Hospital and Inspira Health Network in New Jersey. During this time, he was actively involved in resident education and held the role of Assistant Professor of Medicine. Since 2021, he has been affiliated with Inova Fair Oaks Hospital as well as several Valley Health hospitals in Virginia.
With extensive clinical and academic experience, Dr. Zaeeter is dedicated to forming long-term partnerships with his patients as their primary care physician. I recently moved to the DMV from a small town, an was a little nervous about what my doctor’s office experience would be like in a much more urban place. I’ve read reviews from others about feeling rushed and unheard, or just rude.
My experience with Dr. Zaeeter could not have been further from that. He, as well as the entire office staff, treated me with so much kindness and patience. I felt like I was getting the same, smaller town experience I grew up with (but with much more advanced technology).
The parking lot for the building was spacious and ways to navigate. Inside the office, the waiting room was spacious and genuinely smelled so good, with a TV playing and great ambiance.
Nelly was behind the front desk, and later helped with my EKG and blood work, and was incredibly friendly.
I am so happy I found Pioneer Medical and will absolutely be establishing Dr. Zaeeter as my primary physicians.

As for the office, It was like meeting with a real estate agent at the closing in a nice office that you eventually realized he was renting.
New concept for medical, but there are also advantages like the ease of getting an appointment and getting in and out quickly.
