This doctor had a trainee during my appointment and I’m totally ok with it! But the doctor was always on her phone, the trainee’s communication was very poor. She didn’t speak clearly. The doctor was not attentive at all. Next they cancel my appointments.

I don’t feel like they actually wanted to help me. They are not focused on your wellbeing and are probably overbooking if they are concerned with other patients and can’t juggle it efficiently. Ive been in physical therapy for the same problem before. I have knots on my back and neck which the Doctor here pointed out but won’t even soothe it out with at least one swipe of a massage. Also, I’ve never heard of any work out being effective without consistency. Went the first day they showed me some things just for the second day to show me a complete different set of things with the highest resistance after the first day barely being able to do it on the light resistance. On top of that , today (second day) she said she’d put on the heat on my back for ten minutes just to dismiss me not even five minutes in to the heat session. I feel disrespected to the max right now and I expressed the whole session how badly my arm to my neck hurts just for them not to say a single word or opinion on

The space was very nice—open, big, and pleasantly quiet. With no blaring music, I could focus fully on my session. What stood out most, though, was how friendly and attentive the staff were. They were always ready to assist, so I never had to wait for help. I also rally appreciated how knowledgeable Dr. Mayada Sharaf, DPT is.

When you book, you are assigned to a physical therapist pool. Unfortunately, this office accepts too many patients at once, so I never received personalized care. Sometimes I had to wait up to 10 minutes between exercises.

As someone who has had physical therapy before, I prefer to be treated by one therapist. My two times going to this office I have had two different therapist which is less than ideal. Especially, if it appears the communication between the therapists is lacking. The second therapist had no idea what I had done in my initial visit which was concerning. As I wondered whether my progress or lack thereof would be effectively communicated to whomever may be treating me on any given day.
Also with my second visit the therapist was treating 3/4 persons simultaneously. As I was learning exercises for the first time, a more hands-on approach was required. Then after I would finish an exercise I would have to wait until the therapist saw that I was finish, so she could return and move me on to the next exercise. This made the session longer than it had to be.
I never met with the DPT, so not sure what, if any involvement, she had with my prescribed care.

She and her staff were amazing but the only problem I had was that she does not do acupuncture and that what Zocdoc had her under. I would recommend anyone who need physical therapy to go see her and her top notch staff.

Mayada Sharaf DPT and Carlo And Mark and staff was very instrumental and very efficient and effective in getting me back to my regular ADL’s activities of daily living and the therapy on my both feet was helpful and hit the right areas where the pain was coming from I will highly recommend Mayada and the entire staff to help with therapeutic methods and I reassured when you come to the hands of hope that pain will be gone and all will be well .May God continue to bless them and keep them safe . It’s my first day of therapy and I’m happy I came here. Very friendly and helpful staffs. The therapists were attentive and have good bedside manner. They are also accommodating when it comes to scheduling appointments to your comfort. I would gladly recommend hands of hope.

Excellent hands on physical therapy! All staff that work here from reception to physical therapy have excellent interpersonal skills!! I went to the Woodhaven, Queens site after two knee replacement surgeries. Highly recommend this site and Hands of Hope to anyone seeking physical therapy!!

Dr.Mayada is extremely knowledgeable and works very hard to achieve the greatest results. She provided me with exceptional service and was able to help me overcome my issue. She is the best ??

I love that pretty much everyone there is taking care of you. Everyone has a general idea of what’s wrong with you and they’re always checking in. It’s a very small and cozy place and everyone’s really nice!
