Hello! I'm Ann Marie. I have 18 years of experience in the mental health field; 8 of those years as a licensed professional counselor. Let's work together to figure out what is causing you to feel depressed, anxious, or "off", and come up with some ways to make you feel better. Let's face it, life has its ups and downs. I can help you better cope with the downs so you can better enjoy the ups. Let's see what we can accomplish together!

What should a new client know about working with you?

I prefer not to follow a step-by-step approach. I like to mix it up. I will draw on techniques from various modalities to address your unique needs. I will draw from CBT, ACT, Positive Psychology, Person-Centered, Self-Compassion Practices, and ERP, to name a few.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Will we laugh? I hope so. I like to use humor whenever appropriate. Will there be tears? Probably. I want you to be your true self and show all of your emotions. And, I hope that you take away one thing you can use in your day-to-day from each of our sessions, even if just words of encouragement.
