Hi there, I'm Anna! Hello! My name is Anna Lane, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Washington, DC. I hold a Master's in Counseling from Liberty University. My goal as your or your child's therapist is to make you feel unconditionally accepted and to create an environment where I can support you in your growth and understanding of self. I believe everyone has the innate ability to know themselves and create personal change. I would be honored to support you in discovering this ability. I am most passionate and skilled in helping children ages 5-18 and people experiencing perinatal mental health needs. My approach As a person-centered therapist, I believe each person is the expert of their own life. I will bring my own expertise to the table to support you in your personal growth journey. I offer an integrative modality including, but not limited to, play, internal family systems, trauma-informed, CBT, and narrative therapies. You and I will work together to create the approach that best matches your unique needs. My focus I typically work with children of all ages, families, parents, and mothers. I match the most appropriate therapeutic approach within my wheelhouse to each client and their specific needs. I have experience working with children with developmental delays, anxiety, history of trauma, attachment-based disorders, impulse control challenges, ADHD, depression, familial relational challenges, grief, anger, and self-esteem issues. I am also skilled in supporting perinatal mental health needs, transitioning to parenthood, perinatal loss, and infertility issues.
