Audrey Futrell, LPC

Psychotherapist
TX
I have a passion for working with adults struggling with addiction. Additionally, I find a strong connection in working with adolescents and helping them navigate important stages of their lives. Everyone faces challenges at times, but getting through these moments often depends on who is there to support them. I desire to be the person who walks alongside you on this journey. I ran the CD-IOP program for 2.5 years and the MH-IOP program for 1 year at Glen Oaks Hospital. I was Youth Program Manager at Sundance Behavioral Hospital before being promoted to Clinical Director in the inpatient setting. In 2015, I transitioned into private practice. In 2019, I earned my PsyD in Clinical Psychology from Capella University, which allows me to provide customized diagnoses and treatment plans to help others on a deeper level. I also hold a Master’s in Professional Counseling and a Bachelor’s degree from Liberty University. I offer flexible scheduling with appointments available in the afternoons, evenings, nights, and on Sundays. Telehealth services are available throughout the week, while face-to-face sessions are offered on Sundays only. These Sunday in-person appointments are premium spots that typically book a month in advance and are not currently accessible on this calendar.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Hope is the number one factor. I create a safe space for the person to be honest with me with no judgement. We learn to sit in feelings and process through them, but also learn when and how to distract in order to regulate the emotions to bring logical thinking to a higher level and not allow emotions to do all of the thinking. Another factor is that the client is not alone. I am here to be on this journey with them.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
