Getting to know Beth Mullett

I am comfortable working with clients from almost any age bracket, cultural background, or socioeconomic group. As an LGBTQ+ ally, I am accepting of and welcome clients of any gender or identity. I am a systems-based therapist, so I take notice of the systems around my client and how they might be impacting their experiences; I work well with individuals and family systems. I am especially experienced in my work with chronic pain/illness and complex trauma. I hold an MSEd in Clinical Counseling from the University of Dayton. As a therapist, I am intuitive and relaxed. I believe in empowering my clients to define and move toward their goals in a positive, validating, and collaborative atmosphere, in which the client decides what feels safe and comfortable for them. I believe that counseling is most impactful and effective when it is the product of a safe, unconditional therapeutic relationship based on trust and support. It can be difficult and even scary to seek assistance with trauma, depression, anxiety, and more. It's important to find someone who helps you feel accepted and safe while you work to create a sense of stability and define what will work for YOU. I would be honored to share this important journey with you.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My clients often tell me that sessions with me feel like talking to a good friend, or being interviewed for a story about them; I intend to create a space that feels welcoming and unconditionally positive, even when we're facing hard or uncomfortable truths. My style is friendly and conversational - I welcome laughter and cusswords in my sessions!

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

I wish I could select more than two things that stand out. (I would choose them all!) ??

Beth is awesome!
Beth does a great job listening and ADHD-ing throughout our sessions. I love the coaching throughout our sessions, addressing both the hard things and the positive things. Sometimes it's a coaching day, sometimes an encouragement day, and sometimes a day to hear the hard things. Beth offers an intelligent approach with new science, readings, etc. during our sessions along with a humorous side that brings a levity too.
Beth has changed my life and is continuing to do so. I feel so comfortable talking to her and am so grateful for my time with her.
I thoroughly enjoy meeting with Beth. She has helped me tremendously and makes me feel empowered. She has helped build a confidence within me that I was missing.
Sessions with Beth are like hanging out and confiding in a friend who just happens to be a licensed therapist. I feel safe to share everything with her in a non-judgmental space and have learned how to craft a safe space of my own on the off days (even though she's always available to text when I need her). 10/10 person and therapist ??
