I am a senior licensed physical therapist accomplished in treating patients across the lifespan and helping them become functionally independent. I am a New York State licensed physical therapist who has been practicing in the NYC area for more than a decade. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from Chaudhary Charan Singh University. I am well versed in devising a broad range of treatments and modalities to restore function and alleviate patient disability. I specialize in manual and trigger point therapy to treat the causes and symptoms of both sudden and chronic pain.
My educational background, professional qualifications, and extensive experience in physical therapy make me well qualified to perform all relevant diagnoses to evaluate and measure patients’ basic motor functions and capabilities. I then formulate treatment plans and goals tailored to each patient’s tolerability and medical condition.
With my excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong work ethic, and multilingual abilities, I am deeply committed to delivering quality care and achieving favorable outcomes for my patients.

I went to this office because I have a ganglion cyst in my wrist that's been causing me pain in my hand and wrist. My hand doctor recommended I get physical therapy because I'm unable to get it removed at this time. They listened to me thoroughly and catered directly to what I needed. After the appointment my wrist and hand felt so good to move, it wasn't as tight and i'm able to hold things in my hand with minimal pain. It was only my first appointment and I already feel better! I can't wait to see what progress we'll get done in the future!

I never did a physical therapy treatment. Had I known it would make you feel better on your first visit. I would have done it a long time than to suffer years. The therapists was very friendly, they make you feel at home. The excercises was great they know how to treat the pain.

This was a great experience. The doctor and her team worked together to comfort me. I went in for vertigo issues and since I am not diagnosed yet with any condition, the doctor and her team provided me with procedures to help me while I figure things out. Great team and communication!

I can't recommend Sharma Rehabilitation enough. The reception staff is friendly and helpful, even when I need to cancel or reschedule on short notice. The therapists are very attentive to my different needs and provide exercises that I can use at home to continue to build strength.

The best thing that ever happened to me after breaking my hip was being treated by Dr.Sharma.
I went into treatment with a swollen leg and foot after having my hip replaced and was immediately treated by Dr. Sharma.
Within days the swelling had significantly been reduced and I felt I was on the road to recovery.
The entire staff is professional and knowledgeable.
It was a turning point in my recovery.

Dr. Sharma and her staff are truly wonderful. They are kind, courteous and very helpful. From the moment you enter the facility, everyone has a smile and they are very friendly.
The exercise sessions were very helpful. The sessions provided tremendous relief to the extreme pain I was having on my left hip due to hip dysplasia.
