Getting to know Biniam Abebe

I am a licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s in Professional Counseling from Amberton University and over 15 years of experience working with individuals, adolescents, and families who suffer from a variety of emotional disturbances, including depression, anxiety, and trauma. Life is too short to live in pain. I will personally talk with you to help relieve that anxiety and uneasiness so you can decide if I am the counselor who is right for you. What should a new client know about working with you?

I use a number of therapeutic modalities including but not limited to Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Reality Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Solution focused therapy.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Setting goals, home works and active participation. My goal as a counselor is to provide a safe environment where we can explore your primary interests, develop goals and determines strengths and assets as you move toward your aspirations.
