I have several years of experience working with clients of various ages and backgrounds. My expertise includes supporting individuals dealing with grief and loss, depression, and anxiety. I understand that some people feel they are at a "loss" and need direction and encouragement to move forward. I like to meet clients where they are and believe that short-term, solution-focused therapy is effective in addressing issues directly. To promote accountability and progress throughout the therapy journey, I assign weekly homework assignments. I also enjoy sharing uplifting quotes and notes to help us see the "light at the end of the tunnel." I hold a Master's degree in Social Work from Howard University and earned my Bachelor's degree from Bowie State University.
