“My husband and I had a couples therapy appointment with Caitlin. We felt she was a great listener and did a great job job of making sure we were both addressing our concerns. She made us feel comfortable and even inserted a bit of humor when appropriate. Although this was just the first appointment, we already felt like we were making a bit of progress after meeting with Caitlin.”

I would not recommend this provider for anyone identifying as BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, Person of Color). Dr. Eshelman is very stoic in nature. I got very classic "shrink" vibes from her and it was hard to connect on a person to person level. In our very few interactions I always felt like a patient. I was delayed to our first appointment due to health reasons. Additionally, this was my first time using Grow Therapy (I usually use UpLift). I made it in the chat 13 minutes after my appointment, she was already gone despite the 15 minute grace period. Dr. Eshelman is not gracious. She's extremely by the book and ironically that's what a lot of us are seeking refuge from in mental health care. She probably really knows her stuff however, I found it difficult to connect on a human to human level so if that's important to you I'd look elsewhere.
