Getting to know Colleen McCleery

I am a Marriage and Family Therapist with 20 years of experience, holding a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of San Diego. I address a wide array of relationship and individual issues with a holistic perspective and concern for your overall, long-term well-being. I provide EMDR, couples, individual, and family therapy. In addition, my LICDC license allows me to help certain clients identify addictive or self-destructive patterns and relationships. Working together, we can move towards self-awareness and self-improvement that positively impacts all areas of your life.

What should a new client know about working with you?

On the first visit, I gather as much information as I could from you, at the same time making sure I would be a good fit and able to help you. Toward the end of the first session, we discuss your goals for treatment. Throughout therapy, we discuss your goal and make sure we are reaching them.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
