About Dr. Comfort Ahonkhai

Comfort was born and raised in West Palm Beach, FL, where she developed a deep appreciation for sports and movement. She earned a full Division I softball scholarship at Drexel University in Philadelphia, graduating in 2014 with a Bachelor's degree in Health Science. Comfort then advanced her education by completing her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Hampton University. Before joining Active Physical Therapy, she gained valuable experience working in acute hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, sports rehabilitation, and orthopedic outpatient settings. Drawing from her diverse background and knowledge of various pathologies, Comfort applies a comprehensive and creative approach to each patient, aiming to relieve their symptoms and build a stronger body. In her spare time, Comfort enjoys traveling the world to perform with her Brazilian Zouk/Lambada partner and ladies dance teams, cooking vegan dishes, weightlifting, and snuggling with her kittens.
