Psychotherapist
233 7th St, Ste 200, Garden City, NY
I work with adults navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, grief and loss, chronic illness, stress, and self-esteem concerns. My experience supporting individuals and families coping with serious and chronic medical conditions has deepened my understanding of the emotional impact that illness, uncertainty, caregiving, and loss can have on a person’s sense of self and relationships. I believe therapy offers a unique opportunity to feel truly seen, heard, and understood, and I strive to create a space that feels calm, supportive, and emotionally safe — a place where you can speak openly, process difficult experiences, and explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment. Prior to joining SelfWorks, I worked as a medical social worker at a hospital in Manhattan specializing in hematology-oncology. I earned my Master’s degree in Social Work from Fordham University Graduate School of Social Service, where my graduate training focused on working closely with adults facing life-threatening and chronic illnesses. Before pursuing graduate school, I worked at a nonprofit organization in Washington, DC dedicated to supporting individuals and families through counseling services, healthcare access, educational programming, and job training initiatives, further strengthening my commitment to compassionate, person-centered care. Outside of my clinical work, I enjoy traveling and exploring new places, especially beach destinations, cooking for loved ones, and spending quality time with my husband and children. These experiences help me stay grounded, connected, and present — values I bring into my work with clients every day.
