Licensed by the States of New York, Connecticut, and California, I am a therapist specializing in individual, couple and family psychotherapy. I maintain a private practice in Cos Cob, CT and New York, NY.
I am a graduate of Tufts University and received my Master of Social Work from Fordham University. I am a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist and have trained at The Ackerman Institute for the Family. I have worked in schools, clinics, and was a team leader at the Renfrew Center.
My integrative method uses a variety of evidence based theories which creates a unique approach that is respectful of his or her individual needs. The goal is to provide a collaborative, informative, inquisitive, and accepting atmosphere that will help you feel safe, calm and understood.
Having been a nationally-ranked mixed doubles tennis player, I understand how to work together to solve a problem. As a mother of two, I understand in detail many of the challenges facing our youth today. Moreover, as a therapist, I continually work to balance my professional and family lives.
