Psychotherapist
OH
I would very much like to meet you and see if you feel like we are a good match for your journey. This is a very important process you are about to take on. It might be scary for some, or for some couldn't come quickly enough. Either way, I want you to feel safe, seen, heard, and comfortable being yourself. Without the fear of being judged or criticized. I want you to know that you will be accepted and celebrated for all that you are. I'm here to give you a space to discover the things that might have been holding you back from being the person you want to be. To give you a space to let the feelings out that you have been holding in. And to give you a space to discover things about yourself that you didn't know were there. My approach I take a client-centered, collaborative approach to therapy, tailoring each session to your unique needs and goals. First and foremost, my approach is rooted in empathy, respect, and the belief that therapy can lead to positive transformations. I find using a psychoanalytic or psychodynamic approach gives my client(seye-openingng insights with long-lasting and life-changing results. I also utilize CBT and DBT strategies to tailor treatment to each unique client's needs. When working with couples, I use Gottman or Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), tailoring the treatment to each couple I see. My focus I specialize in working with individuals who are navigating life transitions. Whether that be due to substance abuse issues, loss (death, divorce, career, kids, etc), anxiety, depression, or trauma(abuse, PTSD, Childhood, loss, veterans, etc). I also have a great passion for working with couples and families. I enjoy seeing couples and families learn to trust each other again and be willing to be vulnerable with one another as they start to communicate their true feelings. I welcome you to reach out whenever you feel ready to begin. I’m here to provide a safe and supportive environment where you can be yourself.”
