Getting to know Katelyn Strand
My name is Katelyn and I earned my Master of Social Work from The Ohio State University and have 5 years of experience providing therapy to clients recovering from trauma and abuse, healing from depression and anxiety, and hoping to increase their skills use. I earned my Bachelor's in Education and worked for a couple years in the special education setting of a middle school. I love utilizing my education background with clients to teach new skills and support families as they navigate the education system as well. Currently, I only offer telehealth appointments from anywhere in Ohio and have availability for morning and mid-day times. I do not have any evening availability at this time. I am honored you would consider me for your therapy!

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

I’ve had many therapist in my past, by Katelyn is by far my favorite. She’s very knowledgeable and supportive. She always reassures me that my feelings about things are valid! She’s very easy to talk to and open up with.

Kaelyn is very open minded, authentic, direct, empowering, warm, and solution oriented. She has a lot of experience that she can bring to your therapy sessions. I appreciate how patient she is despite the many times our sessions at taking through the same topics. She also gives great insight and feedback on yourself when you ask . I love how flexible she is with in person sessions. If you need an in person session and it doesn’t fall on her office days, she will find a solution for you both to meet. I love that! Kaelyn is amazing and would recommend her to anyone !
