Getting to know Kenneth W Seeley
Hello! I AM ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS FOR BOTH IN PERSON (IF YOU LIVE NEAR AKRON) and virtually in OH. I have been counseling for 13 years. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, Ordained Minister and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. If you are struggling with depression, anxiety and/or psychological trauma, I want to help you.
I have experience in many areas. I do NOT work with children under 18 at this time and I do NOT do couples counseling. Currently, I work with adults. I also run a Christian nonprofit for those without insurance. (Ask about this if you don't have insurance or have a low income.)
What should a new client know about working with you?
The first session consists of an assessment, diagnosis and treatment options/recommendations. I typically will discuss the MAPS concept and clinical skills that may be used to help each client (see next section below). I typical use scripture and pray for you at the end of each session. I want to leave you with the sense that you are loved by God and that I genuinely care and want to help you. I strive to make you feel hopeful, heard and encouraged.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
